THE 2010 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 10th October
The Annual club championships have been a little predictable for the last few years and some would say unfair and boring. Therefore, this year the handicap system will be introduced. The aim is to make the competition as close as possible.
The event will take place at Calderdale MTB challenge. The official handicaps are based on last years ride, predicted form, secret training, recent banging missions and unfair genetic advantages...... If you want your handicap changing let Ste know.

A David and goliath story
If Hollywood wanted a script for the next Rocky movie then this would be it. Ian Stirrup has gone from a pottering cyclist to a fully fledged competitive cyclist. You may be wondering why. Well Ian wants to beat everyday muscleman and general poser Alan Meakin at the club championships. It is a David and Goliath story and to complete his dream Ian will only ride a minimum of 30 miles when he trains.
With the newly introduced handicap system Ian may be able to deliver the goods and become club champion. Below is a picture of when they completed IOM e2e last year.
